Virus Collection & Transport Tube (ITM)

The Virus Collection & Transport Tube (ITM) transports patient specimens of  nasal and throat mucus to a laboratory where COVID-19 is tested by PCR, and where the virus is inactive or isolated.

The Virus Collection & Transport Tube (ITM), also known as molecular testing, is specifically designed to safely inactivate pathogen samples, while preserving and stabilizing the released DNA and RNA.

The swab uses a special Nylon Dacron media as the raw material to maximize sampling.
